HIV SELF-TESTING KITS

Why use an HIV Self-Testing Kit?
HIV self-test kits were licensed for use in Canada in November 2020. Self-testing can be a more comfortable option for some individuals. It is private and you can do it yourself. When used correctly, self test kits have a 99.6% accuracy rate.
If you receive a positive test, it is necessary to get a confirmatory test from a lab with a traditional blood draw, which can be found here.
We can walk you through the process.
To access your HIV Self-Testing Kit or to get more information, please call or text Darryl at (289) 969-0637 or email ddyball@positivelivingniagara.com
Additional Options for HIV Testing
In addition to HIV Self-tests, HIV testing can be done at your family doctor, walk-in clinics or through the Niagara Region Sexual Health Centres.
