Overdose Prevention & Response
Beyond the N.O.D Opioid Overdose Prevention and Naloxone Distribution Program
StreetWorks offers training for service providers on how to respond to an opioid overdose using naloxone, a drug used to temporarily reverse the effects of an opioid overdose. Curriculum includes preventing and identifying an overdose, and a demonstration on how to administer naloxone, now in a nasal spray format. Upon completion of the training, your organization will be eligible a free naloxone kit. Training can be adapted to include other harm reduction information based on desired learning outcomes.
